hi(: listening to phantom of the opera on radioblogclub makes me inspired! despite the fact that it is still easter and i am off collecting oyster eggs on kol. phantom of the opera music makes my sister scared. it reminds her of the enchanted mirror in the last scene and the phantom! and the scary music and the falling chandelier. poor thing. so she has gone to sleep now and i can go back to listening but it might make me scared too. i am such a wimp. masquerade is my favorite! it was right after the intermission when I saw it on broadway and there were all these great costumes! and the only song that does not make my sister scared. I am using an excessive amount of exclamation marks on this post. andshort sentences. but short sentences are for dramatic effect! and so are exclamation marks. ah well. using the striped oyster egg with its special abilities to deafeat the boss bat. wish me luck!
grr this is what happened: This is the two-headed bat who runs the Bat Hole. Despite constant arguments with himself which usually leave him with four black eyes. He gets the jump on you.
He sinks four sets of fangs into your tender leg. Ouch squared, dude. Ouch! Ouch! Ooh! Ouch!
You lose 13 hit points.
sigh. how do i defeat the boss bat? and the goblin king? trying to find mosquito netting for the flies in the dark dank and sinister cave. see? im that obsessed with kol.
I wish we could do the phantom of the opera for book day. is it a book? ok today im going to talk about PotO(phantom of the opera) and put the eldest review in my next post because i feel very inspired! (yes i finally finished eldest) you know i have a feeling that hoongyan is sick of all my rants about poto because i kept on emailing and writing letters to her about it weeks after my trip. but a good musical makes you feel! like a good book, it oozes with emotion. like sound of music! which i loved to watch when i was little on the LCD lol. and my mum loves it too. my mum loves poto as much as i do! i first watched it when i was 5 but then all i remembered was the phantom on the boat with swirling mist and the loud noises and the chandelier, which i got scared of -_-" and i fell asleep during most of the show anyway. so the second time i watched it was on broadway in nyc! which was veryvery exhilarating. i mean people had to queue up in the cold just to buy tickets. and before the show, i saw zhener, which was quite surreal. anyway, we only got tickets on the day itself, so we had to sit high up in the theater. and the stairs were so steep and the seats were so narrow (it was an old theater, i forgot the name) that you felt like falling off into the stage, if you get what i mean. pictures weren't allowed, so i cant show you anything): the show began soon enough and i was hooked! I stupidly fell asleep in the middle before intermission- long day+heavy dinner= sleep. but my dad fell asleep for the entire thing! i dunno how he managed that, what with the organ and chandelier and all. wasted ticket. oh and speaking of wasted seats, some people left during intermission! probably to get transport early but you dont miss the second half just to flag a taxi 0.o and after intermission I saw masquerade! yup and then after the show, of course they got a standing ovation. people in singapore dont know how/dont give standing ovations for ANYTHING. except for perhaps an electrico concert. when I watch stuff, only a few expats stand up. then my mum enthu-ly stands up too! but that's about it.
going to sleep now! more on poto later. andand i must remember to put up your links, adeline and goh hong. and stay tuned for my eldest review!
